South Africa coach Rassie Erasmus named a 31-man squad in Johannesburg Monday for the Rugby World Cup in Japan between September 20 and November 2.
The Springboks go into the tournament on the back of a winning Rugby Championship campaign, which saw them down Australia, Argentina and force an impressive draw in New Zealand.
Erasmus’ squad for the World Cup contains 17 forwards and 14 backs.
