Born in 1972, Khaya Ngwenya studied at the Durban University of Technology where he obtained a national diploma in video technology and a BTech in photography. A previous winner of Vodacom Journalist of the Year in the KwaZulu-Natal region, his expansive body of work covers the areas of politics, heritage and fashion.
