Sa’eed is currently completing a PhD at the Department of International Development at the University of Oxford. His thesis focuses on political parties in contemporary African democracies, exploring the link between party membership and center-right populist ideology in Nigeria's fourth democratic republic.Sa'eed is also lead Nigeria Analyst at Control Risks. He advises organisations looking to enter or expand their operations in the country. Sa’eed has worked on independent research and consulting projects focused on Nigeria and covering the areas of conflict, natural resource governance, press freedom, and public sector reform.
