Children suffer in Moz’s year of emergencies

It has been a bad start to the year in Mozambique. First, Quelimane City was partially submerged after intense rains in January. The central region was hit by large-scale flooding in February, sparking fears of a repeat of the disaster of 2000/01 as 163 000 Mozambicans living in low-lying areas along the Zambezi River and its tributaries were displaced.
