Kenyans tipped to win world athletics

KENYAN athletes are in great form in Athens and are expected to dominate in the long distance events in the World Athletics Championships which starts on Friday.

Kenya is hoping that their top athletes will bring back medals – fastest 5 000m runner this season Daniel Komen, three-time world 3 000m steeplechase chapmion Moses Kiptanui, three-time world cross country champion Paul Tergat, Olympic 10 000m champion Patric Konchellah and Olympic 5 000m silver medallist Paul Bitok.
