THE South African women’s cricket team won their second one-day Test match against Ireland by 34 runs in Dublin, Ireland on Thursday.
South Africa struggled at first until Helen Davies and Darleen Terblanch put on 57 runs for the fifth wicket. Alicia Bezuidenhout helped South Africa to a total of 135 all out after 49,4 overs when she put on 17 runs.
South African captain Kim Price and Denise Reid took three wickets and Ireland only managed to get 101 all out off 45,1 overs.
The third and final Test will be played in Dublin on Friday.
