WEDNESDAY, 12.00NOON:
BUSH Bucks narrowly beat Supersport United 1-0 in a Castle Premiership match at Umtata Stadium on Tuesday. The score was goalless at interval.
The introduction of Mzawuthethi Nogwaza for the off-form Vincent Skhosana inspired the home side to victory. Bucks immediately took control and their commitment paid off as Patrick Mayo connected a Thabo Mngomeni header and put it behind the net to put the home side ahead in the 66th minute.
Tshepo Tshoane was unlucky when his thunderous shot hit the woodwork after a beautiful inter-passing with Mngomeni.
In the 75th minute United’s coach Shane McGregor made a double substitution by bringing Harry Jacobs and Anthony Tilly for Glen Salmon and Anthony Greyling respectively. They did not make any difference and McGregor was forced to bring in Christopher Bongozanga for Aron Ngwenya.
