GHANA QUALIFY FOR WORLD U-20

GHANA became the first country to qualify for the world football U-20 youth tournament on Wednesday when it trounced Angola 5-0 in the Africa U-20 youth football tournament in Accra. The result means Ghana, in group A, qualifies for the semi-finals with a maximum six points. Four teams from the tournament besides Nigeria, who are the hosts, are to qualify. In the event of Nigeria qualifying for the semi-final, the third place teams from both groups will play to determine who qualifies. Ghana who lead 1-0 at half time scored through Abdul Issah Rahman (penalty), Skelley Adu Tutu, Awuley Quaye Jnr, Theophilus Amuzu and Issah Mohammed.
