MALI defeated Guinea 4-1 in a play-off match in Ghana on Wednesday to decide which team will join Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon and Zambia to represent Africa in the World Under-20 football championship in Nigeria in April. Mali’s four goals were all scored in the second half of the match. The first goal came from Amadou Coulibally (57th minute). Dissa Mammadou scored the second and fourth goals (60th and 78th minutes) while the third goal was scored by Diarra Mammadou (64th minute). Guinea’s only goal in the match was scored by Youla Souleymana in the 90th minute. The semifinal matches will be played on Thursday. Zambia will play Ghana in Accra and Nigeria will meet Cameroon in Kumasi, a city in southern of Ghana.
