A WITNESS in the Julie Ward murder trial told a Nairobi, Kenya court on Tuesday that he has no doubt the British tourist was murdered. Ward’s dismembered and burnt remains were found in the Masai Mara Game Reserve on September 13, 1988. Officials at the time claimed Ward had been attacked and killed by wild animals. Nicodermus Diffu, senior superintendent of police at the time, told the court that he examined her remains in the morgue in 1988. He said her left leg appeared to have been cut with a sharp object and it appeared as if her jaw had been broken by a sharp object.
