AFRICAN COACHES SACKED

ANGOLA, Mozambique and Namibia have sacked their national coaches following disappointing African Nations Cup qualifying results. Brazilian Djalma Cavalcante replaces Yugoslav Vesselin Jelusic after Angola crashed 2-0 at home to Mauritius and Mozambique fired Joao Albasine following a 6-1 humiliation by Cameroon in Maputo. Namibia dumped Seth Boois when they lost 3-0 in Cote d’Ivoire and German Peter Uberjahn takes over as coach with local Reston Mogane his technical assistant.
