NAMIBIAN national soccer team manager Bernard ‘Noree’ Kaanjuka announced an unchanged team for the all-important Cosafa Castle Cup qualifier against Malawi in Blantyre on May 22. Kaanjuka added that the 18-man squad – which drew 0-0 in their Africa Nations Cup match against against Mali in Windhoek on Saturday – will be boosted by the presence of Mohammed Auseb and Eliphas Shivute. Midfielder ‘Slice’ Auseb has completed his one-match suspension while China-based striker ‘Safille’ Shivute will return to the squad from “self-exile” after his recent fall-out with national coach Peter ‘Corporal’ Ueberjahn. Namibia, together with Malawi, Botswana and Mozambique receive a second chance to salvage a place in the mini-league stage of the competition after losing their preliminary round matches.
