THREE South Africans are on PricewaterhouseCoopers International Test Player of the Year for cricket. Allan Donald tops bowlers, along with Shaun Pollock, and Jacques Kallis has made it in as a batsman and bowler. Other high-profile players on the list include struggling WEst Indian captain Brian Lara, Australian Steve Waugh, and India’s Sachin Tendulkar. Lara and Donald are the current leaders in batting and bowling for Tests, while Michael Bevan and Shaun Pollock top the one day ratings. The winner of the Test Player award will be announced on June 14 at an FICA/PricewaterhouseCoopers dinner at The Savoy Hotel. Steve Waugh has won twice, and Tendulkar has also won.
