ENGLAND CAPTAIN IN DRUG FLAP

LAWRENCE Dallaglio, captain of England’s rugby side, is quoted in the British tabloid News of the World saying he used to deal in drugs, and that he and unnamed England teammates celebrated the Lions’ 1997 2-1 Test series victory over South Africa with Ecstasy and cocaine. The Rugby Football Union has issued a statement saying they were discussing the allegations “as a matter of urgency”. Dallaglio’s job as England captain for the upcoming World Cup is in serious jeopardy.
