BID TO WIND UP VIRODENE FIRM

A GROUP of miniority shareholders in Cryopreservation Technologies, the company behind the claimed Aids treatment Virodene, applied to the Pretoria High Court on Tuesday for final liquidation of the company. The applicants, Charles Fourie, Carl Landauer, Gabriel du Preez and Stephanie Martens, maintain the company is commercially insolvent and unable to pay its debts. Majority shareholders and company founders Olga Visser and her former husband Ziggy are opposing the application. The application continues.
