SHARKS TAKE BULLS

THE NATAL Sharks overcame a nine-year drought to beat the Blue Bulls in a thrilling finish at Loftus Versfeld on Sunday. The Natal side triumphed 27-16. The last time the Sharks won in Pretoria was in 1990, but by outscoring their opponents five tries to one, the visitors overcame the hoodoo and now move into second place on the Currie Cup log. The Sharks dominated the game, and earned their win. The defending champions looked out of sorts, dropping balls and making numerous errors on attack which ultimately cost them the match.
