TWO men will appear in the Alberton magistrate’s court on Friday in connection with the slaying of seven people in Mandela Park in Thokoza on the East Rand on Monday night. Gauteng assistant police commissioner Len van Tonder on Thursday morning said the two men, who were taken in for questioning on Tuesday, will face charges with murder. He said they were identified by members of the community, and six more suspects are still on the run. Safety and Security Minister Steve Tshwete, who was given ID books of the suspects, denied that the murders were politically motivated and said media specualtion on the subject fuelled violence.
