THE South African Under-21 rugby team put in another strong performance to beat France 45-11 and secure its place in the final of the 1999 SANZAR/UAR Tournament in Buenos Aires. The “Baby Boks” will face New Zealand – who beat defending champions Australia 38-25 in this week’s other semi-final – in Saturday’s final. The South Africans scored six tries to one against France, extending their overall try tally to 23 in just four matches at the event. They have conceded only two tries. Wingers Wylie Human and Frikkie Welsh, Centre Wayne Julies, flanker Gerrie Britz (2) and prop Eduard Coetzee scored tries while fullback Johan Roets succeedd with three conversions and three penalties.
