ANOTHER TOP NIGERIAN SHOT

A PROMINENT Nigerian lawyer and industrialist Chris Ogunbanjo was shot by armed men in the second such violent attack within four days in the capital Lagos. Ogunbanjo (76) was shot at in the surprise raid Friday night by the armed robbers who forced their way into his residence, brutalised the family, before carting away valuable property. The septuagenarian was immediately rushed to a private hospital, where plans are being made to fly him abroad for further treatment of the gunshot wounds he received. His attack came three days after Tuesday’s assassination of former Nigerian Sports and Aviation Minister Air Commodore Anthony Ikhazoboh by unidentified gunmen.
