AFTER finishing third in Pool C, South Africa are involved in the playoffs for ninth to 16th position in the Junior Women’s World Squash Championships being played in Antwerp, Belgium. The powerful Egyptian team, which includes 13-year-old Omneya Abdel Kawy, a semi-finalist in the individual championships, did not drop a point to win the pool, followed by Germany on eight points and South Africa on seven. South Africa’s line-up of Karen van der Westhuizen (WP), Diana Argyle and Nadine Harber (both Gauteng), meet Denmark on Thursday at 11am.
