THREE Durban businessmen who allegedly masterminded a crime syndicate that defrauded traders out of an estimated R62-million have been arrested in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday. The three men are prominent businessmen, Captain Vishnu Naidoo said. Warrants for the arrest of three other businessmen have also been issued. Naidoo said the men apparently operated the syndicate by buying goods on account without any form of subsequent payment.
