OLLIE BULLIES BOBBY

SPRINGBOK pin-up Bobby Skinstad and burly prop Ollie le Roux briefly came to blows in a training ground spat on Tuesday. The pair tussled during an intense contact session although the matter was quickly resolved. Coach Nick Mallett has called for tough contact sessions following two weeks of intensive fitness work for the Springboks. Both Le Roux and Skinsad shrugged off the incident as a storm in a teacup. Interestingly the pair were featured recently on the front of the Sunday Times wearing only their swimming trunks. Skinstad was billed as the ‘beefcake” and the rotund Le Roux as the “boerewors” in the story headline.– MWP
