THE football competition of the All Africa Games is hotting up, and fans have much to look forward to during the next four days. Thursday sees the fifth and seventh place play-offs with Algeria and Cote d’Ivoire battling it out for fifth place, while Mali and Mauritius lock horns for seventh position. Friday will be D-day for South Africa and Zambia as they battle it out for a place in the final at the Orlando Stadium. Cameroon will meet Uganda in the other semi-final played at the Rand Stadium. The final will be played on Sunday, and the winning team will take its place among former winners like Nigeria, Egypt and Congo.
