MAX BRITO GUEST OF HONOUR AT FINAL

IVORY Coast player Max Brito, paralysed four years ago in the match against Tonga in South Africa and who now lives in south-west France, is to be guest of honour at the World Cup final next month in Cardiff. There had been speculation that Brito, still confined to a wheel chair, had been snubbed by the tournament organisers but RWC directopr Marcel Martin has confirmed that the former winger, who has been suffering from bed sores, is expected to have recovered from them in time to make the final.
