ZAMBIA has called in British detectives to probe the murder of Wezi Kaunda, son and political heir of founding president and chief opposition leader Kenneth Kaunda, the government said on Saturday. “The British government has agreed to send a small team of investigators from Scotland Yard to participate in the ongoing investigations into the mysterious murder,” the home affairs ministry said. Five South African experts have already joined the hunt for the killers of Kaunda, who died on November 4 after unidentified gunmen forced him out of his car and shot him several times outside his home in Lusaka.
