JEAN Hugo and Ulrich van den Berg, two of South Africa’s most promising young professionals, stole a march on their more experienced counterparts and finished Saturday’s third round of the Zimbabwe Open locked in a share of the lead. On another windless, sweltering day at the Chapman Golf Club, Hugo fired a seven-under par 65 to join fellow rookie and overnight leader Van den Berg, who carded a 68, at the top of the leaderboard on 13-under-par 203. The duo are two strokes clear of second-placed Nic Henning on 11-under par 205, with Henning returning a 68. European Tour campaigner Roger Wessels also made a significant move up the leaderboard. His 66 saw him finish the day on 10-under par 206 along with Sean Pappas, who posted a 69.
