THE son of a senior ANC leader in KwaZulu-Natal has been murdered. Vuyani Nkosi, 33, son of the provincial legislature deputy speaker, Willies Mchunu, was shot dead on Tuesday night at his home in Durban’s Chesterville Township. Nkosi, who was the ANC branch chairman Chesterville, was shot at four times and revolver cartridges were found in his backroom where he was sleeping. Deputy speaker Mchunu says he doesn’t know why his son was killed. ANC provincial chairman Sbu Ndebele on Wednesday expressed shock at the murder and extended condolences to the Mchunu and Nkosi families. Ndebele says the incident is a blow to the ANC and the entire province because Vuyani was a good teacher and leader.
