LAURIE Mains will not be leaving the Golden Lions and the Cats for a New Zealand coaching post, says his boss, Golden Lions president Jomo King. King said Mains, in New Zealand on holiday, has a three-year contract at Ellis Park and would be returning on Januray 17. “I’ve spoken to him again and there is no absolutely no truth to the rumour that he had applied for the position as ccaretaker coach of the All Blacks, nor that he was interested in the Highlanders job,” King said.
