MALAWI national coach Jack Chamangwana has been sacked and replaced by former international player Young Chimodzi, a Malawi football association official said on Monday. The national team lost 2-1 to Libya and twice drew 1-1 with Rwanda this month in home matches designed to prepare the Flames for their World Cup qualifiers against Kenya during April. Youth team coach Alex Masanjala could also lose his post after journalists who accompanied the team to the Southern Africa championships in Johannesburg this month reported that he spent more time drinking beer than coaching.
