AT least 30 people were killed when an Angolan army helicopter crashed at the weekend in the southern province of Huila. Angolan media reported that twelve people, including crew members, survived the crash. The helicopter hit the ground soon after it took off from the air base at the province’s main town Lubango on Saturday for a flight to Luanda. The cause of the accident was not immediately known.
