KENYA AIRBUS VICTIMS ARRIVE IN NAIROBI

THE bodies of six victims in the Kenya Airways jet that crashed into the sea off Cote d’Ivoire on January 30, leaving 169 people dead or missing, arrived in Nairobi on Monday aboard a regular Kenya Airways flight. The Airbus flight, carrying other passengers, along with family members and relatives of the six victims — three Kenyans, two Indian nationals on transit to Bombay and a Dutch national on transit to Uganda, landed at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. President Daniel arap Moi, ministers, airline officials and diplomats, flanked by a crows of 500, were on hand for the arrival of the bodies, all draped in white. Ten people survived the crash which happened just after takeoff from Abidjan airport on Sunday last week. At least 20 Kenyans perished.
