EALES OUT FOR SIX WEEKS

WALLABY captain John Eales will be out of rugby for up to six weeks after tests on Monday confirmed he has suffered a fractured eye socket. Eales was injured in a head clash with Queensland Reds teammate Sean Hardman in last Saturday’s 43-25 Super 12 loss to Wellington in New Zealand. “There is a fracture in the eye socket and at this stage it’ll be four to six weeks,” Eales said after a MRI scan Monday. “It’s very disappointing because last year I was injured and missed the whole Super 12 season and I’ll miss a decent chunk of it this year.”
