LOTTERY FREZY AHEAD OF SATURDAY DRAW

ALL eyes are expected to be glued to television on Saturday when the first draw in the country’s national lottery will name an instant millionaire. Goverment’s eyes are no execption as it is estimated that the lottery will raise R1-billion annually for the government to use for good causes such as housing, the arts and charities, said Joe Diescho, public affairs director for Uthingo, the black empowerment consortium given the first seven-year license to operate the lottery. The first winning numbers will be picked randomly on Saturday night, making more than 400000 people richer with prizes ranging from R25 to several thousand rand.
