PRESIDENT Thabo Mbeki is expected to hold talks with his counterpart from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Laurent Kabila, in South Africa this week.
No date has been set for the meeting, Foreign Affairs spokesman Dumisani Rasheleng said at the weekend, speaking to journalists as three South African cabinet ministers returned from a brief fence-mending visit to the war-torn DRC.
