SEVEN bus passengers have been killed and at least 80 others were injured in an accident near Mossel Bay. The bus they were travelling in reportedly plunged 30m down an embankment early on Friday morning. The vehicle’s brakes failed. The injured were ferried by ambulance to the Mossel Bay provincial hospital. The privately owned transport bus was bringing mainly domestic workers to the town when the accident happened. The driver was not seriously injured.
