KING Lebone Molotlegi of the Bafokeng has died in a Sandton clinic, after being admitted there earlier this month with lung and kidney failure. Under the rule of the 35-year-old king, the 300_ooo strong Bakokeng managed to develop their infrastructure near Rustenburg without government assistance with their shares in the Impala Platinum mines. Last year however, the royal family was at loggerheads with the Bafokeng action comittee over allegations of mismanagement of tribal funds.
