TWO Johannesburg policemen were killed in an accident on Empire Road early on Thursday morning. Captain Iwo Liut, 35, and Sergeant Jaque Rabie, 29, were involved in a high speed chase when they lost control of their car, which plunged off the N1 highway onto Empire Road near Wits University. Paramedics battled for hours at the scene to stabilise the two men, but they both died.
