A MAN has been arrested for the murder of two foreign tourists near the Sun City game reserve last week. North West province police said the 45-year-old suspect was arrested on Saturday night. He is thought to be the driver of the car that pulled up beside Danish holidaymakers Hendrik Phalund, 33, and Peter Espersen, 37, when they stopped their car on the Pilansberg-Sun City road, about 100m from Tornado crossing. Police expect the arrest of two other suspects is imminent. The man taken into custody will appear before a magistrate at Ga-Rankuwa on Tuesday. The two Danes, thought to have been friends, arrived in Cape Town on April 14 to play recreational golf at various courses in South Africa. Although police believe the motive for the attack appeared to be robbery, nothing was taken.
