A BOMB attack was launched on Monday at the airport in the Eritrean capital just north of a terminal at around 11.45am. A building was in flames and smoke could be seen in the distance. The attack apparently took place as a Red Cross plane carrying relief aid was unloading. The plane was seen taking off quickly following the attack.
