DISGRACED former Premier Soccer League chief executive Joe Ndhlela started a three-month prison sentence for contempt of court on Thursday, and will serve time in the Johannesburg prison, known as “Sun City”. Ndhlela was arrested following his hearing at the Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration where he appealed against his dismissal from the PSL. Ndhlela was sacked in April due to financial irregularities following his suspension from the PSL on December 1. Ndhlela was suspended for bringing football and the league into disrepute after he was arrested on charges of fraud and corruption related to his employ at Transnet.
