LESS THAN HAPPY IT COMPANY

SOUTH Africa’s Computer Configurations Holdings Ltd (CCH) expects to report a loss for the year ended June 30 following two significant write-downs. CCH said it had decided to curtail the research, development and manufacturing interests of Orca — in which it owns a 76 percent stake — a decision which will cost the company about R40m. It said it would also incur trading losses and costs estimated at R12m associated with the closure of CC Middle East. – Reuters
