SHELL, TEPCO IN FUEL J-V

SHELL South Africa has entered into a joint venture deal with a black-controlled petroleum group Tepco to supply aviation fuel at Cape Town International Airport. This is Thebe Petroleum Corporation’s (Tepco) first foray into supplying jet fuel. Thebe Investments owns 70% of Tepco. South African Airways (SAA) said it envisaged entering into a deal through which Tepco would supply their cargo division with jet fuel following its deal with Shell South Africa, but Tepco will not be the sole supplier of jet fuel to SAA cargo. – Reuters
