KILLINGS BRING CURFEW FOR CAPE CHILDREN

POLICE have advised parents to be ”extra vigilant” and to keep their children at home at night after a series of gruesome paedophile murders on the crime-ridden Cape Flats. Five young girls, the youngest just five years old, have been found murdered on the Cape Flats in the past month. But police have ruled out a serial killer at work because the murder methods have been different and not all were sexually assaulted. The body of the latest victim, Samantha Isaacs, 6, was found in an deserted schoolroom this week. She had been raped, sodomised and strangled. Police have arrested a 41-year-old man for one of the murders and are questioning an 18-year-old man about another. – Reuters
