A CAPE Town man on trial for beating a man to death with a hockey stick in a fit of “road rage” was a “volcano waiting to erupt,” a clinical psychologist told a court. Graeme Eadie, 35, has pleaded not guilty to the murder in June last year of Kevin Duncan, 55, saying he was not responsible for his actions because he had been provoked, was under severe emotional stress and was under the influence of alcohol. Duncan was beaten to death after he allegedly drove his car close behind Eadie’s and flashed his lights indicating he wanted to pass. After he had passed, Duncan allegedly then slowed down in front of Eadie, who had his wife and two infant sons in the car. This happened again and Eadie became enraged. When the cars stopped at a traffic light, Eadie got out of his car and attacked Duncan. – AFP
