MOZ OPPOSITION DISRUPTS PARLIAMENT

MOZAMBIQUE’S opposition alliance led by the former rebel Mozambique National Resistance (RENAMO) disrupted parliamentary proceedings for the second day in a row after losing a vote relating to the immunity of three opposition members. The 117 opposition deputies protested in their traditional way – chanting anti-government slogans such as ”you stole our votes” and banging tables with hands, books and anything else that was available. – Reuters
