A 50-year-old man was beaten to death for refusing to share his home made beer with another man in Sekororo near Tzaneen on Saturday afternoon, Northern Province police said on Sunday. Inspector James Ngoepe said the man was sitting outside his home drinking when a man, aged 45, allegedly approached him and asked for some beer. When he refused to share the man apparently started kicking and punching him until he died. The man turned himself over to police and is expected to appear in the Maphuno Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
