GUINEA-Bissau’s President Kumba Yala has sworn in Prime Minister Faustino Imbali, asking him to form a government to “get the country out of a disastrous situation”. Yala said there was no time to lose, adding: “Out with nepotism and arbitrary changes in the leadership of the state.” On Monday, Yala sacked the previous prime minister, Caetano N’Tchama. – AFP
