10_000 STUDENTS EXPELLED FOR FORGERY IN NIGERIA

A university in southern Nigeria this week expelled more than 10_000 students – a third of those enrolled at the school – for forging their credentials, a press report said this week. The students, who were among 30 000 enrolled at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, were asked to leave campus immediately, the Nigerian Tribune reported. The expulsions followed a report issued by the school’s certificate screening committee. – AFP
