ILOGIN, SA GETS ONLINE ZULU BOOKSTORE

SOUTH Africa’s first e-commerce site in Zulu, the country’s most widely spoken language, was launched on Monday, the company behind the launch said on Sunday. ”Most commentators question the viability of the Internet in Africa,” said John Kuhn of gAL.co.za, which is a student Web site and online academic bookstore. ”But maybe if it were more relevant to the masses, more people would be interested and language is a major issue,” he said. Anyone interested in e-commerce in Zulu can find it on www.gal.co.za/galbooks – Reuters
