BODY RECOVERED AFTER THE FLOOD IN JO’BURG

THE body of a Soweto woman who went missing after the car in which she was travelling was swept away by floods near the New Canada station in Johannesburg has been found, SABC radio news reported on Friday. The woman identified as 26-year-old Lebohang Machaba and a MTN call centre employee, was found near Roodepoort. The car was found earlier on Friday. The driver of the car, a man, managed to escape when the vehicle became submerged in New Canada Road. – Sapa
